2.5mg nomegestrol acetate and 1.5 mg estradiol (as hemihydrate)

Changing from…Start taking Zoely
No current hormonal contraceptionOn the first day of menstrual bleeding
Combined oral contraceptionOn the day after the last active tablet
Or at the latest the last day of pill free week
Progestogen-only pillOn any day with barrier method for 7 days
Progestogen-only injectionNo later than 12 weeks after last injection with barrier method for 7 days
Other progestogen-only methods (e.g. implant, intrauterine system)On the day of removal with barrier method for 7 days
Following delivery*Any day between 21-28 days after delivery
If starting later, use a barrier method for 7 days. If starting later and intercourse has already occurred, pregnancy should be excluded before starting Zoely.
